Wow-100 days of Kindergarten!!!!!! On Feb. 23 we will celebrate 100 days of Kindergarten. It always amazes me how much the kids learn in 100 days.

Math=Chapter 7-Number Patterns We are dissecting the 100 chart and learning about all of the patterns as we count by 5's, 10's, and 2's. The 100 chart also encourages work with bigger numbers.

Science=Gold Fish and Guppies We will be observing and learning about goldfish and guppies. This is an exciting unit (until we find a fish belly up) :)

Language Art= We continue learning the letter and letter sounds "Ww" "Xx" "Ee". We are now reading many books that contain our sight words as well as decodable books that we have to sound out. Our Litercy Centers are going very smoothly-the extra help is very much appreciated!!!! I am excited to begin to meet with reading groups again.
