YIKES - It is snowing outside my window!! You could just feel Shirley Hills erupt as the students gradually noticed the snow this morning. It is great to enjoy the first snow fall with a classroom of kindergartners.

HALLOWEEN PARTY: All half day kindergartners should wear their costumes to school next Friday. The AM class will enjoy a band concert, have our party from 10:00-11:00 and then end our day at Art. The PM class will begin the day with our party from 1:15-2:15 and then partake in the all school parade at 2:15.

RECAP:

-letter "Cc" - We learned the sound as well as how to form the letter correctly. Please practice at home.

-math - We talked about more and less. We also practiced making numbers 0-5 correctly. Continue to watch and remind your child to form letters and numbers from the top down.

-Social Studies We have been talking about families as well as reading various books from our Language Arts curriculum which also is centered around a Family theme.
