It is absolutely wonderful to meet with each of you and talk about the great things your child is doing in kindergarten. I appreciate the fact that you take the time out of your busy day to attend parent teacher conferences. It sends a great message to your child!!!!!

We will continue with our Language Arts theme about School as we study the letter "Dd" and the new sight words like and he. We have been working hard at word blending (sounding out). Practice at home with any 3 letter word that has an "a" in the middle. Your child is learning to read and write these kinds of words.

Math=numbers 1-10. We will use a number line as we practice writing, reading and ordering the numbers.

*****Our class had the opportunity to enjoy using the new I-Pod touches. What great fun!!! Ask your child about it. (see the pictures on the left)
