We had a lot of fun making apple sauce today. The recipe is in your child's Friday folder if you want to make some at home.

Our new letters for next week are Nn and Pp. We will practice writing them correctly as well talk about words that begin and end with each letter. The new sight word for the week will be "the". Please continue to do your child's homework each week. It is a great review of what we are learning in school about reading and writing.

We will be finishing our math unit on patterns and moving forward to numbers 1-10.

Science=We have picked out a tree near the playground that we will study and observe all year. We did our first observation and recorded our findings.
