Language Arts = As we continue with our weather theme, we will read Winter Lullaby and Bear Snores On. These two stories will teach us how the land, plants and animals change for the colder winter weather.

Sight Words = where do

Vocabulary = arrives, creeps, nestle, slumbering, delight, blustery (talk about and use these words as much as possible)

Math= Chapter 6 introduces the idea of place value using 10 frames. We will work with numbers 10-30 as we learn about place value. Watch for Zero the Hero to come home soon with many number activities.

****Kindergarten comfy/PJ day will be on Wed. Jan. 27th. Field trip to Stages Theatre is in the AM on Thurs. Jan. 28th. Remember AM and PM classes come to school in the AM on the 28th.
